By the way, there are a lot of free tools available in internet to check the validity. But we use Google Webmaster Tools to test XML Sitemaps. For which you have to click add/test Sitemap Button which is at the bottom of the Optimization > Sitemap, with the help of which we can check Sitemap even before submit।
Informing Search Engines
Now that you have also made Sitemap and have also done validate, now is the time to tell Search Engines about it. To inform, you have to give Google and Bing the location of your Sitemap. For Google you have to be Log In in your account, then you will have Optimization > Sitemaps, whose right side will contain button of ‘add sitemap’ . Where you have to paste the URL of Sitemap and finish the work. For Bing, you have to destroy Bing Webmaster Tools to submit Sitemap and put the same location of sitemap।
Internal link you can also include your URL in robot.txt file. For which you need to write an extra line।
